Yes, boy are we excited about this new BLOG ! So I did some research and was thinking if this is actually fun to BLOG his growth. Well I am not exactly the kind of person that write what I did on a day to day basis, but thinking along, might be pretty cool to share our experience with other friends and parent all over the world.

Three Playmates

I had a hard time looking for a good confinement lady. When I managed to find one, her charges were exorbitant. She quoted S$2,400 due to the Chinese New Year. After thinking through, I decided to let my sister take care of my confinement. She agreed and I was so glad. She is not a trained confinement lady, but at least she can cook and has experience (she has 3 kids), that's the most important of all. I put up at her place at Woodlands right after I was discharged from KKH. Having 3 kids herself, my sis knows exactly how and what to do with a baby. She did a great job and I am really grateful to her. Not only my sis, her 3 kids - Anson, Erica and Marcus were very helpful too. Whenever Iden cried, they would rush to comfort him - "Iden don't cry, Kor Kor is here.", "Or lah, or lah.".... When Iden wanted to drink milk, they would try to get it ready. When it was time for Iden to take his bath, they would get ready his clothes, towel, diaper, etc. When Iden was awake, they would play with him. What great help they had given me!
Iden and I stayed at Woodlands for 2 months. Throughout the 2 months, Iden got closer to his 3 playmates and enjoyed their company. By the time we were about to go home, the 3 of them could not bear to leave him.
