Yes, boy are we excited about this new BLOG ! So I did some research and was thinking if this is actually fun to BLOG his growth. Well I am not exactly the kind of person that write what I did on a day to day basis, but thinking along, might be pretty cool to share our experience with other friends and parent all over the world.

Mummy unwell - again

Sigh.... I fell ill again. I thought I should be better after the 3 days rest last week, but no, I don't feel good. Had no choice but to go to see Dr Li again. My first concern was my baby. Dr Li assured me that the baby is well. To provide further assurance, she did an ultrasound scan for me. This time, I could see that the baby is growing slightly bigger. This time round, I was given 4 days of MC to rest.

Husband's arrival and haircut

I woke up very early this morning to go to the airport to receive my dearest. YES! My husband is coming. So happy to see him. Well, this is the first time that he has seen me ever since I am pregnant. This afternoon was a lazy one. I decided to go for a haircut to make myself look more energetic. Pregnancy has made me looked pale and dull. I need a change. A short hair now can also help to beat the sizzling summer in Beijing. The haircut was a big mistake. Halfway through my haircut, I had to excuse myself to go to the toilet. I was having a diarrhoea!! On top of that, I felt feverish. Oh no... I hope my baby is ok. By the time I reached home, I was so dead tired. Rested in bed and had to eat Quaker Oats for dinner. Poor me.... :-(

Parents' visit

My parents are in Beijing currently. I am so glad that they are here. It has been a while since I last tasted home cooked food. I thought I can enjoy my mum's cooking now but sadly, our baby does not think so.
I am not interested in any of the food my mum cooked. No egg, no fish, no vegetables, no rice, and no soup, even. I just like plain noodle. Myojo chicken noodle is my favourite now! Beijing does not have this, so I have to get my parents to bring some from Singapore.
In the end, my mum has to throw quite a fair bit of food away. Oops.

Mummy is not well

I woke up this morning feeling very lethargic. I think it is our baby creating havoc again. For the past weeks, I had no appetite. I used to like vegetables, fish and fruits but prefer meat (as fatty as possible) now. Would turn away at the sight of vegetables and fish on the dining table. My morning sickness is still manageable. No vomit, just feel very tired even after 9 hours of sleep. I had to leave my work half way through and visit Dr Li again in the late morning. Sensing that I maybe too stressed out with work, Dr Li gave me 3 days of MC to rest at home. So, I did nothing but sleep..... zzzzz........

First sight of life

I was given an appointment to see Dr Li this morning. She wanted to ensure that everything is well.
It was the first time I had an ultrasound scan done. It was also the very first time that I saw our baby in my womb. On the ultrasound scan, our baby was just a tiny dot, no bigger than a peanut!
Then, I heard the heartbeat!! It sounded like a train and I just couldn't believe my ears.
