IT family

Now that we know our baby is gonna be a boy, we are cracking our head to find a nice nice name for him. Since both of our names start with 'I' and our surname is 'Tan', we decided (or rather I decided) to find a name that starts with 'I' for our boy.... so that we can form an 'IT' family! After searching high and low, we found what we want: IDEN - English - Wealthy YES!!! We are going to name our baby Iden. A short and easy to remember name. And hopefully he can bring wealth to the family too. Hahaha....

Boy or Girl??

Hmm... I have been waiting for this day ever since I am pregnant. I am back in Singapore again for a complete ultrasound scan. This scan is able to let me know if I am expecting a boy or girl, and also to find out if my baby is developing well without any deformities. On one hand, I am eager to know the gender of my baby. On the other hand, I dread to find out if something is wrong with him/her. I can't do much except to pray hard that things will be well. ipapa was with me in the room. The sonogram specialist was scanning around my tummy to get a good position of our baby. Suddenly, she announced to both of us that we are going to have a baby boy. To reiterate her point, she pointed to the screen and said "there you go, this is his scrotum". Both ipapa and me were staring very hard at the screen and I began to laugh. I also don't know why I laughed. I suppose having a boy will relieve my pressure a bit (answerable to my in-laws). The test shows a healthy baby boy in the making and he has a sharp chin like his mama.
