Iden and Ilis

I like this picture very much! It is our first picture which shows Iden and Ilis together. It is also Iden's first time 'carrying' his sister. See the happy and contented look in his face :-)

Status change

I am officially promoted to the status of ‘Mother of Two’ since 31 July 2006. Iden’s sister was delivered at 1320 hrs on that day(http://ichliebeichschoen.blogspot.com/). Not only has my status changed, Iden’s too. He is now a brother to his younger sister. I believe Iden knows that he has a ‘mei mei’ but perhaps he is too young to understand what it really means.

When he first met Ilis, he was so curious and kept starring at her. He knows she is a baby and kept smiling and calling her baby. He tries to sayang her, but his touch is a bit too hard at times. We have to constantly remind him to be more gentle. Our son has grown to be more mature. This could be due to his exposure at the child care centre. It could also be due to his ‘changed status’. Whatever the case, it is always our joy to see that our son is growing well and becoming a fine young lad!
